The Lagos State Deputy Governor and APC gubernatorial candidate, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has formally presented the official results of the Lagos APC gubernatorial primary election to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a courtesy visit alongside his wife, Oluremi.
Speaking after the meeting, Hamzat described the victory at the party primary as a profound honour and a sacred responsibility entrusted to him by members of the All Progressives Congress across Lagos State.
According to him, the confidence reposed in his candidacy represents not just political endorsement, but a call to continue advancing policies that will improve the lives of Lagosians and strengthen the future of the state.

Hamzat also appreciated party loyalists, stakeholders, youths, women groups, and supporters for the overwhelming support and belief shown throughout the primary process, noting that the energy displayed by party faithful has further strengthened his resolve ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
